  9. HEY everyone, I connect at 24000 bps instead of 21600.  I call Hayes Optima 
  10. modems. So if you have a USR Courier V.Everything type this in before you 
  11. call Hayes Optima modems.
  12. ats54.5=1
  13. that will disable to 3429 symbol rate.  If you don't do this then you may 
  14. connect at a slower baud rate.  I got this tip from the Navas modem page.
